Free Plan Introduction and More

This version focuses on improvements to authentication security, enabling safer and more stable integration with external services.

New Features

Introduction of Personal Use (Free Plan)

The core features of Power Viewer are now available free of charge.
Anyone with a Microsoft account can use the app without a license key.

On the initial setup screen at first launch, you can choose between Personal Use and Organization-Managed Use.

  • Personal Use: No license key required. Log in via the MemberPortal.
  • Organization-Managed Use: Log in using a license key, as before.

Key Benefits

  • Start using the app immediately without going through a license key acquisition process
  • Ideal for personal evaluation or small-scale use

Extended Album Access Keys

The concept of ScopePriority has been introduced for album access keys.
The viewing scope can be restricted based on the Priority of the SubmissionUnit folder within the album access key held by a user group.

  • Enables workflows such as publishing only folders that exclude sensitive materials, depending on the department
  • Improved precision of permission management

Changes & Improvements

Improved Display Names for Cloud Storage

Display names for connected cloud storage are now simpler and easier to understand.

  • “SharePointOnline OAuth2(Custom)” → SharePoint
  • “OneDrive OAuth2(Hosted)” → OneDrive(Hosted)
  • “Google Drive OAuth2(Custom)” → Google Drive
  • “Box OAuth2(Custom)” → Box

  • The storage selection screen is now easier to read

Connection to Veeva Vault

The infrastructure for connecting from Power Viewer to Veeva Vault Submission Archive has been implemented. This feature is currently provided as a BETA version based on the Veeva public API specification.

Key Benefits

  • eCTD data on Veeva Vault can be viewed directly
  • Existing Vault environments can be utilized as-is

This feature has been designed and implemented based on the latest API documentation; however, it is currently in the connection validation phase. Behavior may be unstable depending on your environment. We welcome your feedback.

Security Enhancements

Updated Internal Communication Library

The communication library used internally by the application has been replaced with a more secure, up-to-date version.
